Founded in 1853 and now operating throughout the UK and Ireland, the business employs over 850 people and has office locations in Belfast, Glasgow, London, Birmingham, Bristol and Barrow-in-Furness.

They are committed to adapting their business practices to achieve net zero direct operational emissions by no later than 2030.

Furthermore, McLaughlin & Harvey has committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across their value chain by FY2045. These commitments have been validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative.

McLaughlin & Harvey has achieved some significant milestones as a framework partner for SCAPE Scotland, delivering more than £400m worth of projects via the framework for over 22 clients. Their Controls Director, Andy Tunaley, celebrated a significant milestone in 2026, having agreed a total of over £1bn of projects on the framework over his career.
