Net Zero by SCAPE

Decarbonising transport systems

The decarbonisation of our transport networks requires investment in our public transport system, infrastructure and interchanges.

Your place-based transport strategies may feature a range of locally-derived needs, and the Scottish Government has committed to using existing key investment funds to decarbonise transport where appropriate.

Low carbon transport

Investment for national scale rail renewal and regional connections is well known.

However, we also know there will be local opportunities for new rail and other transportation programmes, that require strategic and project-level advisory services to deliver.

Through the SCAPE Scotland Consultancy framework, we can support you with the investigation and development of proposals for new public transport connections and opportunities that will enable the successful decarbonisation of your infrastructure.

Delivery and enhancement of these systems can be completed through the SCAPE Scotland Civil Engineering framework.
