NEW SCAPE Scotland Utilities Frameworks

We are pleased to announce that we have submitted a Contract Notice to procure a new framework, SCAPE Scotland Utilities Works and Services Framework serving the length and breadth of Scotland, which is fully compliant with The Utilities Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Following a detailed market consultation period, the framework has been designed to empower public sector organisations to shape their utilities projects and programmes, whilst offering leading contractors, collaborative contracts, performance measurement, and an accelerated direct award model that we operate.

The new framework will enable clients to achieve quantifiable community benefits by engaging with a local supply chain, using local labour, and creating wider employment, skills and training opportunities.

Framework structure

The framework will operate under a parallel lotting structure offering a choice of two contractors to deliver civil engineering and construction works.

The framework will run for a period of four years, with an option to extend for a further four years (2+2 years).
