Daniel Maher

Daniel joined SCAPE as Managing Director of Arc Partnership in November 2016, following a successful career in partnership working across both public and private sectors spanning more than 30 years.

During his 20 years with Sheffield City Council, Daniel held a number of posts before managing the HR service for the council’s Direct Services Organisations. He was also part of the successful team that secured European funding that established Sheffield First for Investment, Sheffield One (the then Urban Regeneration Company), leading to investment in local jobs and skills.

Daniel spent the last 14 years of his career at Kier Group’s Housing Maintenance business where he was responsible for Business Development and Bidding, leading on the bidding and establishment of a number of innovative and successful Joint Venture Partnerships, as well as managing a number of support functions including customer service, corporate social responsibility, performance, marketing, PR and communications. Latterly he held the post of Partnership Director, Operations with responsibility for the East Region of Kier’s Housing Maintenance business.

Outside of work Daniel enjoys family life, wine and following Sheffield United.
